Robin Colton Studio Recognized by ASID at Texas Legacy of Design Awards
I am on Cloud Nine!
I love my clients. I love design. I love finding solutions. I love to craft spaces that inspire and elevate people. The work that I do satisfies me in every way every day. but. then. again. It is FABULOUS to be recognized for the work I do! Last week Mykol and I traveled to Dallas for the Legacy of Design awards. This annual awards ceremony hosted by ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) recognizes design talent in the state of Texas. I am honored and humbled to let you know that three of my projects were recognized by ASID at the ceremony.
We were awarded the first place Contemporary Master Bedroom award for a project in downtown Austin's Austonian high-rise. We were awarded another first place in the Contemporary Unique Space or Product category for our Paris inspired picnic table that was featured in DIFFA's Urban Picnic by Design. And finally we were recognized one more time in the Contemporary Entire Residence > 3,500 sq ft category. Our whole house project in Tarrytown that included exterior design earned second place.

The Tarrytown project will be featured in an upcoming issue of Modern Luxury Interiors and available for viewing on the website shortly following publication.
I am so grateful to my clients, my vendors, my workrooms, my team, everyone that goes into creating each and every project. I am a visionary, but without the rest of the team, none of these projects would be brought to life. Thank you!

ASID serves the full range of the interior design profession and practice through the Society’s programs, networks, and advocacy. "We thrive on the strength of cross-functional and interdisciplinary relationships among designers of all specialties, including workplace, healthcare, retail and hospitality, education, institutional, and residential. We showcase the impact of design on the human experience and the value interior designers provide.
